Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to the website operated by The Upgrade Authority Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 13983241 at Henleaze House Business Centre, 13 Harbury Road, Henleaze, Bristol, BS9 4PN.

Website and Group Services

This website introduces The Upgrade Authority group, which includes Upgraded PM, TUA Stays and Upgraded OS. Using the website does not by itself create a property management, tenancy, accommodation, software, contractor or investment agreement.

A service is governed by the proposal, booking terms, tenancy or occupation contract, software terms or other written agreement supplied for that service. If those terms conflict with this website page, the service specific agreement takes priority.

Enquiries and Proposals

Information sent through the contact form must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. A response, estimate or proposal is not binding until the relevant parties accept a written agreement. Any validity period, price, payment date and third party charge will be stated in that agreement or proposal.

Consumer Cancellation Rights

A consumer who enters a qualifying service contract online or away from business premises normally has 14 days from the date the contract is made to cancel. The business offering that service must give the cancellation information and model cancellation form required by law before the contract is made.

If you expressly ask the service provider to begin a qualifying service during that period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for work completed before cancellation. The right ends after full performance only where the required early performance request and acknowledgement have been obtained. Visiting or contacting this website does not record either step.

Different rules apply to residential rental contracts and accommodation booked for specific dates. The agreement supplied for the service explains the rights that apply to it. Nothing on this page removes a statutory consumer right.

Website Content

We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate, but general articles and policy summaries are not legal, financial or investment advice. Rules and service details can change. Check the date of an article and obtain advice for a decision that depends on your own circumstances.

Links to another website are provided for context. We are not responsible for that website’s availability, content or privacy practices. A link does not imply an endorsement unless we say so expressly.

Intellectual Property

The website’s original text, design, software and branding belong to The Upgrade Authority or are used under licence. You may view and print pages for personal use. Commercial copying, republication or use of our branding requires written permission.

Liability

We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or a consumer’s statutory rights. The liability provisions for a paid service are set out in its own agreement.

We are not responsible for a loss caused by using general website information as professional advice, or by an event outside our reasonable control, where that exclusion is lawful.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data and how to change optional analytics choices. Using the website does not amount to consent for processing that requires consent.

Complaints and Law

Our Complaints Policy explains how to raise and escalate a concern. These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. A consumer keeps any mandatory right to bring a claim in the part of the United Kingdom where they live. Service agreements may contain a more specific and lawful jurisdiction clause.
